Listen, then Act!
My name is Brianna Full and I’m running for Omaha Public School Board of Education in subdistrict 2! My mix of experience as an educator, a grassroots community organizer, and a policy advisor at the Nebraska Legislature has given me the skills we need to create real and lasting change in OPS. I promise to not only listen, but act on behalf of all of our OPS community members to establish better conditions in our schools!
Omaha Public Schools need a leader who deeply understands what our children need – that starts with me!
I know exactly what our most disadvantaged students need to succeed because I was one of them. As a teenager I was placed into foster care and aged out of the system when I turned 18. I went to OPS for elementary, middle, and high school and have a first hand account of the district’s strengths and weaknesses. There is no other voice like mine currently on the school board! My lived experiences are unique and are needed to advocate for the students who can get left behind.
